Craig is an Occupational Health and Safety professional with 20 years of experience. He has a Science Degree with a Major in Occupational Health and Safety and is a Charted Professional Member of the Safety institute of Australia.
Craig's initial involvement with Singapore was in 1998, when he commenced work as the Project Safety, Health and Environment Manager for the build and commissioning of Merck, Sharp and Dohme's Singapore Chemical production facility located at Tuas. Three years after breaking ground, the project had achieved over 7million work-hours with no lost time incident, receiving one of the early Ministry of Manpower Developer / Project Owner Letters of Commendation.
Craig moved to the US in 2000 taking up the position of Global Construction Safety Manager with Merck. He was tasked to develop and implement a consistent high level approach to Safety across Merck Projects worldwide. This was achieved through a focus on engineering leadership and the development of a generic safety management system structure. (At peak Projects worth two billion USD across approximately 30 countries)
In 2005 Craig was requested by the Singaporean government (Ministry of Manpower) to assist with the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2006. Craig was appointed as the Director OSH Inspectorate and was latter gazetted Deputy Commissioner under the Workplace Health and Safety Act.
During his time at the Ministry, Craig assisted with the transition from the Factories Act to the Workplace Health and Safety Act 2006, and the implementation of new Singapore OSH strategic plan. Craig's specific responsibilities were to lead a team to enforce Workplace Health and Safety across all business sectors, using both workplace inspections and the investigation of fatal and non fatal accidents as key tools. Craig revised and implemented the new strategic enforcement program, including such programs as business under surveillance; program based engagement as well as improving accident investigation protocols.
Craig is currently the Managing Director of Fusion Safety Management Pte Ltd, a company providing professional OHS advice and assistance to businesses in Asia and Australia. Fusion Safety Management's services have been developed to provide businesses with guidance on improving Safety and Health leadership, workforce safety culture, as well as safety management system development and review.

A qualified Mechanical Engineer with over 14 years of leadership, project, maintenance, construction and system safety management experience, Brad draws upon skill sets honed through senior management and operational positions within the Marine, Aerospace, Defence and Construction sectors. He has held overall accountability and project responsibility for the design and construction of complex, multi-faceted projects and has effectively managed large, multi-disciplined teams conducting operations on assets worth $400M+ within highly pressured environments.
Brad is an engineering management specialist who quickly makes well-informed decisions based upon an ability to conduct and interpret situational appraisals. A qualified aviation safety practitioner, Brad has conceived and overseen the implementation of processes for risk assessment, performance measurement, organisational change and workplace safety management initiatives and systems.
He holds significant leadership and management qualifications and is a former Navy Engineering Officer who has acquired an understanding of human safety behaviour through situational exposures across a broad spectrum of industry sectors. With demonstrable aptitude and capabilities to transfer and deliver cross-sector philosophies within other industry sectors, Brad will formulate and implement tailored management methodologies to suit the needs of our clients.
